Introduction

This document governs the General Terms and Conditions of Use of the website and the contracting of services offered by The Pilgrim Hub (hereinafter, "the Company"). Booking any package or service implies full and unconditional acceptance of these conditions.

1. WEBSITE OWNERSHIP AND IDENTIFICATION DATA

In accordance with current legislation, the following identifying information of the service provider is provided:

2. PURPOSE OF THE SERVICES

The Pilgrim Hub operates as a travel agency and logistics provider specializing in the Portuguese Way. Through this website, users can request proposals and book comprehensive tour packages (accommodation, luggage transport, insurance, and route materials).

3. BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION PROCESS

  • Request: Submitting the web form does not constitute a final reservation, but rather a request for availability.

  • Proposal: The Company will send the user a personalized proposal specifying the itinerary details and the total cost.

  • Confirmation: The reservation will be considered finalized and guaranteed only when the user accepts the proposal and makes the payment (full or partial, as agreed) through the payment gateway or bank transfer.

4. PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS

All prices shown on the website and in the proposals are in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes (VAT).

Accepted payment methods: Credit/debit card through the secure payment platform or bank transfer to the account specified by the Company.

5. CUSTOMER CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION POLICY

Any request to cancel or modify a confirmed reservation must be submitted in writing to santiagopilgrimhub@gmail.com.

Cancellation Fees: Cancellations are subject to administrative fees and compensation depending on how far in advance the cancellation is communicated with respect to the trip start date:

  • More than 30 days in advance: 100% refund of the amount paid (less administrative fees).

  • Between 30 and 15 days in advance: Penalty of [XX]% of the total trip cost.

  • Between 14 and 7 days in advance: Penalty of [XX]% of the total trip cost.

  • Less than 7 days in advance or no-show: Penalty of 100% of the total trip cost.

Modifications: Requests to change dates or reservation holders are subject to accommodation availability and any applicable rate adjustment fees.

6. CONDITIONS OF THE BAGGAGE TRANSPORT SERVICE

  • Collection conditions: The client must leave their luggage at the accommodation reception before the deadline indicated in the documentation provided by the Company.

  • Baggage and weight limits: The service only covers the number of bags contracted in the package, with a maximum weight of 15 kg per bag. Excess weight may result in additional charges or the baggage may not be collected.

  • Identification: Each bag must have the official tag provided by the Company clearly visible.

  • Limitation of liability: The Company and its carriers are not responsible for damage to or loss of cash, jewelry, valuables, or electronic devices transported inside the luggage. It is recommended to carry these items in your hand luggage.

7. BASIC PILGRIM INSURANCE

Packages that include Basic Pilgrim Insurance will be governed by the general terms and conditions of the policy contracted with the insurance provider. In the event of an incident, illness, or accident during the route, the client must contact the insurer's 24/7 assistance hotline directly, as indicated in their booking documents.

8. DATA PROTECTION AND JURISDICTION

The personal data provided by the user will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

For the resolution of any dispute arising from the interpretation or execution of these Terms and Conditions, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals corresponding to the Company's registered office.
